Renee Johnson- Dressage Clinician and Judge
Renee Johnson is a USEF Dressage Judge, FEH and YEH Judge, FEI competitor, Trainer and clinician based in Clovis, CA where she stands her FEI Champion "Kamuela". With Renee, Kamuela was awarded the NAWPN/CDS/USDF Horse of the Year title.
Chris Scarlett- Jumping Clinician and Course Designer
Chris has successfully competed in the sport of eventing to the Advanced level. Competing at the International level in the U.S., Canada, and Great Britain at Rolex, Checkmate Farm, Blenheim, Badminton, and Burghley. She has coached and taught students for the past 30+ years, bringing some to the International level.
Bea DiGrazia
Based in Carmel, CA where she and her husband Derek own and operate Stillwater Farm. They train horses and riders for eventing, dressage and hunter/jumper. Bea has competed at Badminton, Burghley, Rolex, Lumuehlen, Boekelo and several other major national and international events. She worked for USET veteran Jimmy Wofford in the ’70’s then spent two and a half years working with then U.S. coach, Jack LeGoff, at the team headquarters in MA. In 1984, she and Derek moved to CA where they leased the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center and proceeded to contribute to the development of the CA eventing scene. In 1992, they moved their operation to their home at Stillwater Farm. Today, Bea is training and competing a handful of talented horses, conducting clinics for the Area VI & VII Young Rider teams and teaching other clinics and lessons. She is an “r” eventing judge and a USEA certified FEH and YEH judge having judged the Championships in 2014 & 2015.
Wendy Wergeles- Organizer and Technical Deligate
has competed throughout the U.S. and Canada through the Advanced level of eventing. In 1993, her horse Torque was awarded the Area X Intermediate Championship and a year later was awarded the 1994 AHSA Zone 10 Advanced Level Reserve Championship. Wendy has been an instructor at many fine facilities in the U.S. and Canada and has her United States Equestrian Federation "r" license as an eventing judge and a USEF "R" Technical Delegate's license. Wendy was a founding director of the Las Vegas Equestrian Events, Inc., Equestrian Medical Safety Association, The Easter Townships Children's Horse Events, and The Event Derby series of competitions. Today, Wendy spends her time teaching and training at the Modoc II Arena in Santa Barbara and Cottonwood Ranch. She currently publishes and event horse sales website www.focusonsporthorses.com and in 2009 created the annual Elite Event Horse Auction, EEHA!
